Hard-working Pop Rock band One Step Away returns to Hard Rock Café Boston to deliver their CD Release Show on September 19, 2010. The show will feature several songs from their newly released full-length studio album: “For the Broken.” The sound of young emerging band One Step Away has been compared to Boys Like Girls and All Time Low, both groups several years their senior.

Boston, MA, September 15, 2010 — After a summer in the studio and on tour, One Step Away returns to Boston with a new level of professionalism and a brand new full-length studio album: “For the Broken”. They now share with Boston what they have learned from performances across the country in states such as New Jersey, New York and California on stages like Universal Studio’s CityWalk in Hollywood and the legendary Whiskey A-Go Go on Sunset Boulevard. Over the summer they have packaged a new magic into their show which now has a completely refreshed set list.

Their new album, “For the Broken”, is jam-packed with rich harmonies, precision riffs, intriguing melodies and infectious lyrics all written collaboratively by band members themselves. “For the Broken” has eleven songs, written about the band’s personal experiences. With their songs One Step Away hopes to soothe the ‘broken-hearted’ and paint a vision of a brighter future.

The CD Release Show will be from 5-7pm on September 19th. Doors open at 4:30pm. Special Guests opening the CD Release Show are Brighterside and acoustic artist Davis Layman.
