Avandia is an oral medication created by top drug company GlaxoSmithKline for the benefit of people suffering from diabetes. It promises to cure Type 2 diabetes, which is also known as non-insulin dependent diabetes. Avandia in fact controls the glucose of a user. This article tackles the most common Avandia side effects a person may experience upon using it.

In most reported cases, liver, heart and the respiratory organs are the parts that are mostly affected with the drug.

A person may experience upper respiratory problems when using Avandia. One of the most common forms of this infection is the common cold that we experience when we are sick. Headache and body pain are also possible effects Avandia can cause.

In most cases, people experience weight loss when taking some medicines. This is not the case of Avandia usage though. When a person uses Avandia, he will gain more weight as he feels the urge to eat more. Essentially, the person’s appetite increases.

Moreover, a person may experience an increase of blood sugar level.  It is also considered one of the most dangerous effects of Avandia because it may be the reason that there are more serious problems in his body. Once it has been experienced by a user, he must seek medical attention as soon as possible.

These are just some of the most common side effects of Avandia. Death-associated side effects that led to Avandia recall however are also significant. It is basically brought about by myocardial infarction or what is commonly called a heart attack.
