Bingo Awards Winners

The major players in the UK online bingo industry witnessed Foxy Bingo take out the coveted Online Bingo Site of the Year award, at the second Annual BingoPort.co.uk Players’ Choice Awards in London on Friday 29 January, 2010.

The gala award ceremony, held at Grange St. Paul’s Hotel, attracted the who’s who of the online bingo world with all interest turning to the winners of each of the ten award categories, most of which were voted on by the BingoPort.co.uk Free Bingo Community.

Whilst Foxy Bingo took out the Online Bingo Site of the Year Award, it was rival Tombola who scored the most with three awards including Best Online Game Innovation (for their Bingo Roulette game), Most Online Bingo Prizes Won and Most Popular Online Bingo Website.

The innovative new online bingo site, Cheeky Bingo, scooped two awards: Best New Bingo Site and Best Promotion for their play for free and win for real marketing strategy.

The results took into account the efforts of all bingo operators in the UK over the 2009 calendar year. BingoPort.co.uk co-founder, Scott Logan, felt that all of the awards went to much deserved winners. “The purpose of these Players’ Choice Awards is to acknowledge the stand out performers in our industry over the course of the year. Other winners included 888 Ladies (Fastest Growing Website), Mecca Bingo (Best Chat Team), Wink Bingo (Best Online Bingo TV Commercial) and Ladbrokes Bingo (Best Online Bingo Affiliate Program).
